Worse. Duncan is better in the post with more aggressive moves to the hoop, this causes defenses to collapse and gets opposing players in foul trouble. KG can do it too, but relies too much on his turn around jumper to affect the game like Duncan does.
Then there's also leadership, Duncan has led the Spurs to a championship, while KG didn't even say anything while Cassell and Sprewell were imploding what may have been his best supporting cast.

As great as KG is, Duncan is a much better fit with the Spurs. KG's playing style is so different from Duncan that the current Spurs would have to change their team's attack and defensive focus.

Worse in my opinion. I'm a huge Garnett fan, but Duncan, in my opinion, is the most valuable player in the league. Garnett has had players equal to the supporting cast that Duncan has right now in Ginobili and Parker (Sprewell and Cassell), and didn't go any further than Duncan's been able to 3 times already. This says enough in and of itself.

they would probaly be worse

tim duncan is alot more dominent then garnett

also garnetts salary is more then duncans with his higher salary the spurs would have less money to give to other players and sign free agents

how many rings does garnett have...? none
duncan has alot more playoff experience and has a couple rings unlike garnett who has never been to the finals

Worse. Timmy fits in with this team in a way that I don't think Garnett could, even though he's a terrific player.

you cant make fun of garnett for not having a ring, you never saw garnett with anyone like robinson, he hasnt had a supporting cast to get there. if garnett was with the spurs he would be so much better. garnett is so much better, he would be unstoppable with san antonio
