i have seen scripts for star wars 7 a fallen hero and scripts for 8 and 9. is this true? if so, when is the release date for episode 7?

if so it would be too late ...it would have to be back in the 80's after Jedi to be actually good...today the CGI would screw everything up

Lucas is developing the two television properties right now and even though others are developing the next three it's possible they will never be put to film. Lucas has said himself that he's getting too old and doesn't have the energy to make the next three and that would leave the direction to someone else. I don't know if Lucas has it in him to let someone else direct a Star Wars movie.

Doubt you'll see any other Lucas approved films - if you want continuing stories check out Dark Horse Comics as they officially licensed to produced new Star Wars stories and have several books currently available.

George Lucas had always intended to do nine installments of the story. Even as far back as the release of 4,5, and 6, I remember hearing, and reading about that. As far when 7 will be released, your guess is as good as mine.

Everyone thinks that george lucas was going to make 9 of them,thats an urban myth.He only EVER intended to make 6 of them.

According to george lucas, there is to be no more star wars, unless he sells them to a tv producer.

I don't know, but I just pray it isn't so. The prequels were really awful, generally speaking, and I suspect the sequels would be even worse.
