as a man u fan frankly i hate both, but i would take gerrard every time - simply put
1 - inspirational leader
2 - scores goals, makes goals, sound tackler
3 - will give 100% game in game out
to me Lampard isn't as complete a player as Gerrard and goes missing in games also

Im a chelsea supporter but on this occasion i will have to say that Gerrard is better then Lamps.
Simply because Gerrard is faster and is giving 100% every match he plays. Where as Lamps this season has been slipping up and not fully focused. Possibly to do with his contract and all.

gerrard is the better leader and should be a perminant fixture in the England team as well as being captain,
lampard is way overrated in the england setup and doesn't turn up in the big chelsea games against quality teams.
I'd sooner snort $hit through a straw than have either of them on my team tho!

deffo gerrard, i dont think lampard is a great team player. he likes to shoot from every possible angle and is very selfish at times which doesnt fit in to england style of play, the reason he has scored so many goals for chelsea is that fact. gerrard for england is a better choice, he is a very good team player which he has proven for liverpool.
and of course playing them both together doesnt work either.
