Even with caller ID, I would answer in case if it was an emergency and the person was calling from an unknown number.
Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience where the person had the wrong number and continued to call even after I explained that they had the wrong number . I simply turned the phone off for the rest of the night.

I do it all the time--it's usually a friend or family member with important news...otherwise it is a crank call or my fiancee. LOL In each case, I would answer the phone.
One time a friend of mine called me at 1:30 on the morning of my 28th birthday, asking me for a ride to the airport. I agreed to it because I thought there might eventually be some *** in it for me.

i would without a doubt, if it rang at that time in the morning it means someone from my family or friends need me and i am always there for them 24/7, and they know no matter what time they can phone me and i will listen and chat to them or go and see them!

i would and have cussed the person out on the other end.theres only 3 reasons for someone calling at the time of night in jail or sick or dead, but there would be nothing i could do for them at that time of night. but u know what really gets my goat is when they hang up. best believe i call them right back and when they answer i cuss the the fukc out. Like i dont have caller ID......lol

I would if I knew the person and if I was awake. If it's an unknown number, put the phone on silent and don't answer, but call back when you wake up in the morning.

I would guess it was an emergency if somebody called that late. I would answer the phone.
If it turned out that it was a wrong number and it woke me up....I'd write the number down from the caller ID and prank them for about 3 weeks straights... ahh.. goodtimes.

Why wouldn't you? The most likely reason anyone would call you at that time of morning is an emergency.
