If all questions were about happiness, I truly doubt Yahoo Answers would have even existed in the first place.

I strongly agree, Like most any place else. People tend to talk about what they know and have. Unfortunately Happiness is not something most people have or even know.

If all questions only revolved around happiness, then that would not reflect reality and the kinds of questions and problems people encounter every day. So what would be the point?

If people were always happy and content and had all of the answers they needed, then there would be no point to Y/A.

People are however, consistent in their need to be entertained, listened to, answered and accepted.

Happiness is fleeting at best, and everyone needs to vent sometimes.

Experiencing a free exchange of ideas helps us to grow and gain new perspective.

True. Life does not revolve around happiness and YA might be viewed as a microcosm of life.

Well, life isn't all about happiness, and your right, Yahoo answers wouldn't exist....Life needs balance, and cant have the good without the bad.

it would be nice if the world was like that, but not everything in life is happy. and that seems to be what we need help with. face it, if we need help to be happy, we'd be in a world of hurt.

because it would get too boring, and what about people who need help with homework or fixing their computer an stuff
