I was at a dance (where I only recognized one song) and everbody I knew completely ignored me, some even teased me for being all alone (one guy continously came up to me and started doing this really weird dance and a couple times he grabbed my hand and dragged me on the dance floor and told me to dance) , the only people who took me seriously were some girls who I hadn't seen since second grade.
I was wearing a roxy blue shirt, short jean skirt, blue sandals (my sister told me what to wear). For makeup I had a little gold eyeshadow on top on top and bottom lids under my glasses, a tiny bit of lip gloss.
I want to know.... was it the way I looked that everyone I knew were such jerks to me, or because they just are jerks

sweetie they are probably jerks. from what i heard that you were wearing you looked really good! and just because nobody danced with you don't worry they are the one that missed out! If it is really worrying you ask one of your friend or someone that was at the dance. but don't worry

I am gussing that some one thought it would be fun to make fun of some one so a lot of people did. If all of these peole were form the same group thent hat it probably what happend or maybe they thought you said something about some one they are friends with.
I dont thinkt hat it was what you look like.
If there is anyone who is in that group that you are friends with then just ask if they know what was going on.

Judging by what you wore, I'm assuming the dance was informal. And if it was, you were dressed fine! Gold it totally in right now and jean skirts are hot! Maybe you should spend some time finding friends that aren't so immature. I can't see why they would act that way because of you're clothing. If it was because of your clothes, they need to re-evaluate their priorities!

From what it seems, your clothing and makeup seemed fine unless you had an EXTREMELY short skirt or an outdated or your shirt didn't fit. Hopefully you didn't over do the eyeshadow or your lip gloss wasn't to bright or too dark. It seems like you need some new friends honestly.

I think a bit of it had to do with the gold eyeshadow not only on top lids but on bottom as well.

Maybe because you were wearing gold eye shodow & glasses. you could of left your glasses at home and maybe have toned down the eyeshadow color.
