Yes, you can definitely breastfeed with nipple piercings. All you have to do is take out the jewelry, feed the baby, and put them back in. Just make sure your piercings are healed before breastfeeding. There's no need to permanently leave them out. In fact, for most, nipple piercings make breastfeeding easier. When a breastfeeding mother's nipples are pierced, milk usually comes out of all 3 major holes, creating greater flow.

It's unsafe for baby if you have the jewelry in, so when you do breast feed the rings/barbells/whatever should be taken out bcuz of choking hazards and bruising their gums. Other than that, yes, you can still breastfeed if you have pierced nipple--- no problem. You don't have to take them out and get them repierced--- you can leave them in and just remove them when you breast feed or if they start to irritate you and cause contractions (which some nipple stimulation can) then you should take them out. If you've had them for awhile they may not even need to be repierced bcuz the hole may not even completely heal.

You CAN TOTALLY BREASTFEED with pierced nipples.
Obviously take out the jewelry ( I don't even wear mine anymore).
I took mine out while I was still pregnant...because you get SOOO sensative...I couldn't take it...lol so out they came.
And now, I've been nursing my son for almost 8 months with peirced nipples and I haven't had not one single problem.
The only thing I anticipate is that if I ever do put the jewelry back in...I'll need bigger rings...as breastfeeding has made for larger nipples....but that's it! TMI, I know...I'm just sayin...lol.
Good Luck!

Yes. I did. You can't have the rings in while nursing. It's not safe to have them. Take them out and get them re-pierced when you are no longer breastfeeding.

So long as you didn't damage the tissue too much and scar tissue didn't block any of the milk passage ways.
