You should have never fed those pinkies to your snake. After sitting out that long, they had already started to rot, whether you could smell them or not. When you further warmed them up, you speeded up the decomposition process. Two pinkies, if they are freshly thawed, is an adequate meal for a young snake & should not cause regurgitation. The main reasons a meal is regurgitated is stress, temperature either too warm or too cool, or the meal was spoiled, which was probably the case here. You must wait at least 5 days before you try to feed the snake again. This allows the snake's throat & stomach to rest & heal from the stress of vomiting.

Normally when a snake throws up its because its not warm enough in your viv for him to digest the food. Which its not a good thing. You should wait at least a couple of days before feeding again. So he can heal from it. And check your temp..

Those pinkies were out more then 24 hours.. And you fed them to your snake? Not good. Also I suggest you read up on your pet. Plenty of information on line.

Also don't let the food stay out that your going to feed your snake. You don't need the extra bacteria the pinkies can build up. You will make your snake sick.
I say defrost an hour before you feed. Not even an hour stick them in warm water doesn't even take 20 mins for pinkies to defrost.

Handling the snake soon after feeding can make them regurgitate leave for 24 - 48hrs before handling.
Yes you did leave pinkies out to defrost far to long they were starting to decompose so were full of salmonella. Newborn pinkies in warm water only take 5 - 10minutes to defrost.

Hatchling corn snakes should be fed one to two pinkie (newborn) mice per week. Hatchlings will probably accept up to four or five pinkie mice per week, but this is probably too much food and can lead to some problems later. As the corn snake increases in size, the one to two mice per week should be increased in size proportionately. The mouse fed to your snake should not be so large that it makes a huge bulge in the belly of the snake. If a food item is too large, the snake will have problems digesting it and it may be regurgitated.

i have a snake and i feed him one mouse around every 5 days. it might be too much for your snake but if you have a pet or anything it could of scared your snake. its their instinct to "regurgitate" so if they are in danger they can get away fast without anything inside

If you left the food out on the counter, chances are it started to spoil. The snake then ate it, and it made him feel sick so he threw it back up.

My snakes throw up when the heat source in their tank isn't warm enough. Maybe check that.

I had this problem with my snake many years ago. Sometimes they consume too much too quickly! Perhaps one would have been more digestible.
