When a true Christian is faced with a difficult decision, the litmus test for such a decision ultimately comes down to one question: “What would Jesus do?” What, if any, of Bush’s policies or decisions resulted from his claim to be a true Christian? And by the way, simply saying that he’s pro-life doesn’t cut it. What has he legislated, proposed, or what adopted policies exemplify his Christianity? What distinguishes talking the talk from walking the walk?

Do Christians get to pick and choose the parts of the Bible that they want to? Thou shalt not kill, easily comes to mind. Jesus supposedly turned the other cheek and was crucified for his beliefs with the greatest power behind him. Doesn't seem to describe Bush much, sorry.

Just saying Pro-Life isn't good enough? Ok, how about the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004? Don't forget the ban on partial birth abortion that he signed into law in 2003, which was upheld by the Supreme Court. I think that was rather Christian of him.

i think that Bush's faith does impact each and everything he does. He enables himself to be dictated to via the novel Christian Fundamentalists. In united states of america "what might Jesus do" would not, or shouldn't even come into play, because of the fact of separation of church and state. because of the fact the supervisor of state of a democratic united states, his faith shouldn't play any section in his determination making technique. He must be thinking approximately what could be best for the entire united states and not in basic terms for the few who have faith as he does. As to how this interprets into his rules? All i know is that he would not appreciate persons, especially those with distinctive religions. He has even long previous as far as to declare (in the previous he grew to strengthen into president) that he believed that Wicca isn't a real faith and could be faraway from the army Chaplain's record of religions. who's he to ensure what's a faith or no longer? He can no longer make that determination, no longer even congress can. in my opinion, and that i know this relatively would not have something to do jointly with your question, yet, he's an fool, no longer extremely clever, yet very pliable...easily inspired. He we could his non secular "values" seep into each and everything he says and does.

That's all well and good but, when the safety of one's country is under attack, for example, one does what's best for the country. Jesus was not faced with the maelstrom of the problems of the 21st century.
