It says the wrong thing about the American society. Because Paris Hilton is so famous, people just want to know more about her and really takes in whatever she dishes out--books, music album, reality shows, news, gossip, catchphrase, etc.

But if you really think about it, Paris Hilton has no talent. She can't sing. She can't act. She can't dance. She can't even model. She just comes from a family who made a name for themselves by building a hotel chain empire.

But as an individual, she has really nothing to give, which leads to the question, "Why does American tolerate such ineptness and mediocrity?"
