Having grown up in Chicago and the Chicago area here is my list of the top ten things to see in Chicago:
#10. The museum campus (Shedd, Science and industry, Natural History)
#9. The planetarium.
#8. The Art Institute
#7. Millenium Park
#6. Sears Tower skydeck, tallest building.
#5. Wrigley Field
#4. John Hancock skydeck, the best view of the city, period.
#3. Gino's East for the best pizza in the world!
#2. The great beaches of Chicago!
#1. Navy Pier, of course, for multiple pleasures. Scenic boat tours, food, entertainment for all ages!

The beach. Lake Michigan has cold water but some nice beaches.
If you like amusement parks, Great America is real cool. It does require an auto drive to get there.
Lincoln Park Zoo and Brookfield Zoo are two of the best in the world.
You will want to visit the observatory on top of the Sears Tower or other tall building. They are about 350 meters high.
Grant Park has Taste of Chicago and music festivals in the summer.
Navy Pier has IMAX, amusement rides, and boat trips.
Chicago has some very large shopping malls. Besides the shopping, they have good fast food. Teenagers like to walk around and meet friends.
Chicago also has large churches and temples for all religions.

Other than what you have planned I would suggest walking the magnificent mile, and going to the top of the Sears Tower. Also Navy Pier, the Art Institute, and the historic Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. And if your willing to travel a little, I suggest taking the approximately hour long car ride up north to Gurnee the visit the amusement park Six Flags Great America.

You could spend a week in the Museum of Science & Industry but The Natural History Museum is great and if you are into art the Art Institute on Michigan avenue is world class.

large city nightlife? NYC is kinda a freakshow, yet there is a lot to do. in case you prefer to ascertain the genuine area of individuals, you could might desire to challenge into the suburbs of maximum substantial cities. Chicago is a calming city too. L.A. could be impressive, yet as quickly as back, there are in basic terms as many hispanic immigrants in L.A. as Miami. i'm from Michigan, north of Detroit. i like to pass out on the lake in the summer season time. in case you prefer to accomplish a little boating/wakeboarding/jetskiing/occasion on the water then come to the large Lake State. golf equipment and nightlife in Detroit are risky each and every from time to time. outdoors - Michigan is a huge time as quickly as back. I think of you will prefer to do a gaggle of issues in the limited time you have in the U.S., so i could say a city like Chicago or NYC could supply you lots to do. i prefer to propose Chicago. October is soccer and hockey season besides (and baseball, in case you're into being bored out of your skulls), so possibly try to catch a pastime. delight on your stay in the states fellas. Kimchee Cowpoke - Austin is on the element of fifty% Mexican. He of course reported that they do no longer prefer to pass someplace with 1 / 4 million hispanic immigrants according to sq. mile. Why could you advise Texas?
