very tricky....been a very long time since I've written any poetry...but OK....here goes... (don't laugh anyone!)
I am very small and insignificant
As the day breaks, I shall sing you a song.
You may not see me, as I chirp and chant.
Full of gusto, you will discover where my heart belongs.
No louder can anyone sing, nor as happy when I fly.
Back to the nest I must, as fledglings nearly ready with goodbyes.
I am but a wren, so very small and insignificant.
But my song you can’t mistake,
Listen now and you heart will ache.
Even if you cannot see me, miss my song, you won't.
