I've only been to London but it was one of the best places I have been. If you go, get a tour of the Tower of London. That's my only regret, not seeing it.

If it were me, I would fly into London and then explore the city your first day. Take pictures at the hot spots, enjoy a nice elegant dinner and settle into your hotel.

Day Two: Take the Eurorail into Ireland and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way. Visit a pub, some local Irish churches (they are freaking awesome) and go through villages. Relax, take it easy and be spontanious! Stay in a hotel that night, have a traditional Irish dinner and go to a pub ( you can't go to Ireland without visiting a pub).

Day Three: More Irish scenery, take a day trip with a tour group, enjoy it and take in the culture. Maybe you could go to Dublin for the day? Hotel in Ireland that night.

Day Four: Eurorail to Scottland, visit Stonehenge and enjoy the beautiful country. Take LOTS of pictures!!!!! That night, have a traditional Scottish dinner and enjoy the hotels, maybe take in some nightlife.

Day Five: Take a Day tour of Scottland, be spontanious!

Day Six: Eurorail back to London, ENJOY THE nightlife that night (In London, it's fantastic)

Day Seven: (assuming you've got a week) Enjoy London for the day, take a tour, shop, hang with the locals.

Day Eight: Go back home.

London is expensive, but on the other hand, you won't need as much money to get around.

Scotland is magnificent, but you really should rent a car to reach the great, remote places. It is probably the most beautiful, although Ireland has a lto going for it, too.

Ireland is the best if you want to get around and see a lot on public transportation. It is probably the friendliest of the three as well. It probably has the most diversity of beauty and attractions as well.
