A skeleton key looks very similar to the other keys for the building in which it unlocks ALL the doors. The key is created in such a way that it can fit all of the tumblers of the various doors. It is usually slighter thinner looking than the standard key that opens your office door.

I thought skeleton key is just to describe the ONLY key available to open whatever that thing is to open. What it look like? Definitely ordinary and nothing special.. , unless, to the eye of the beholder... Don't you agree?

Long and skinny. They usually only open old locks not newer ones...like all the doors in a old house.

they look universally like the keys they need to open locks for, either yale type or mortice like - there are too many to describe really.
