i just started selling stuff on ebay, and it says that 2 things that i sold can get second chance offers. what does that mean? i looked in the help section, but i still dont understand

It means that once the audition is over, if the person who won it does not come through, you have the option of giving the next highest bidder a "second chance" to buy the item.

I use second chance offers a lot when selling items i have more than one of.

If the item gets more than one bid, it will say that you can send a second chance offer *which is the highest price they bid on the item*

If they accept, then they will buy the item for their hightest bid price.

I Usually follow up with a note or reminder just so they know it isnt fake or spoof.

If you have more than one of the same item, you can offer it to the second highest bidder.

I agree with dewcoons, however there have been a lot of bogus second offers lately so be careful.
