My radeon 9800 pro 128mb just fried for the 5th time (no joke) and this time ATI wont take it back because warranty expired.

So now im looking at a 7600gt since they are relatively cheap now, but i have a 350W Antec SP350 PSU...will it be enough?

The rest of my pc is like this...
Asus a7n8xdx
2 stick 512mb
athlon 2800 barton
1 Hard drive
1 CDRW
1 Floppy

Thanks! in advance

Think on this. The Radeon 9800 fried for the 5th time? Sounds like 350W not enough to me.
I would go with 550W or 600W. You may find something on sale and get a 650W. Shop around.
I got a 500W months ago for free! Well, It cost the price of two stamps for my rebate.

Also, look for a dual rail on your 12 volts.

Maybe. One way to find out - just try it. Hopefully you have the correct power connection for the new card. AND you have the right slot for it. Doesn't the 7600GT need a PCIe slot, and don't you have only an AGP slot?

Make sure it is an AGP before hitting the "buy" button. 7600GS 7800GS might be something to look in to.

It should be sufficient but I would spend a few extra dollars and go with at least a 2 fan 500 watt PSU myself. Chances are you're like me and will get addicted to upgrading your PC :)

450 watts is pushing it for a stable system, but so agree, spend the extra dollar for a 500 at least. u'll feel the different if you come down to burning a cd.
