If so, why haven't other Christian nations joined the fight?

Are you trying to bring back the Crusades.

I think it is more political than religious. The terrorists attack us due to a religious belief. Since we can't fight the terrorists directly (because they don't represent one particular nation) We chose to use Iraq as our target for retaliation for political reasons. Attacking Iraq because of 9/11 would be like attacking the united stated because of something the Mafia did. Its not religious.

And we shouldn't be fighting a religion. They are entitled to their beliefs. Not all Muslims are militant terrorists.

I think religion plays a big role in driving the war for the Islamics but not for those in the US.

It will stop soon. The Russians are growling again, so we can pay taxes to produce arms for the next cold war.

It better not be because the church is not paying for it.

I think both sides want to appeal to their religious backers though. It just makes the whole thing even more sad.

We want to arrest them for what they do not what they believe in. We don't go arresting people for being Muslim, after all most of the terrorists are extremists. We arrest them for their merciless attacks on civilian targets, not because they read the Koran or believe in Islam.
