I am an Anaheim Angels fan.. I am a real fan who used to go to games in the late 80's and 90's.... when the Angels sucked.. Dude I remember that they would sell other teams gear at our ballpark.. it was horible! The only time we sold out games was when Dodgers, yankees or Red sox were in town..
With that being said I am seeing red Sox fans as real jerks. Now they win title and it goes to theyre head. At Angel stadium Red Sox fans are always starting fights.. ITS TO THE POINT THAT I NO LONGER HATE THE YANKEES!! I can't believe I am saying that but it's true!

How does it go to our head winning a title?? Most people I know never saw the redsox win before. So yeah we got excited! As for no class fans I doubt it! i'de take a harder look at yankee's fans for that one.

Well thank you for seeing the light! While we all love our teams,BoSox fans take it too the extreme. It's nuts. Boston will be playing any other team and the fans will still be walking around chanting "Yankees suck". They converge on any other stadium that the Sox may be playing at. Most of them can't afford to have their teeth fixed (seen many toothless wonders)but pay for airfare in some cases,other traveling expenses like hotels,not to mention the high ticket prices and the tons of beer at $7.75 a piece at the game. Sometimes the chants for the visiting Red Sox are louder than the home team chants. I've witnessed this at Yankee stadium and have heard it loud and clear on TV. It's scary. When BoSox fans are together,all you hear about is Yankees this and Yankees that.
As far as the "Evil Empire" is concerned---if your team has the bucks to get whatever player they want,more power to them--no matter what team

Red Sox fans are not jerks, we are just really excited. I have lived in New England my whole life and there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to sports. I witnessed the red sox win the world series and Patriots win the superbowl (3 times.) The thing about New England fans is even when our beloved teams suck we stay faithful. And now all that faith, all those hours watching our teams lose, all the **** we get from those New York fans, is finally paying off. With yankees 12.5 games behind we are loving every minute of it.
Don't mistake our excitement, loyalty, and pure LOVE for the red sox, as being Jerks

Red Sox fans travel with the team. In Texas you hear a clear lets go Red Sox chant and at Bruins games you hear a clear Yankees Suk chant

I agree (except about uniting, and the Angels being oh-so-perfect...but I digress).
Boston fans who move away from Boston and talk about the Sox non stops are jerks. Bigger than the Yankees fans. It is almost amazing. This was even before they won the series. Every A's/Boston game @ Oakland has at least a few fights (not that A's fans are angels, but...we are on our home turf!). It is to the point, for me, where, if the Sox/Yankees are playing, I almost have to route for the Yankees.
My story of what we put up with outside of Boston... a few years ago, post playoff game. I am walking to BART after the A's had lost (after we were up 2-0 going over to Fenway). There's this girl, going on and on and on about how much the A's suck and how much the Red Sox rock. Fine, we blew it...but then she goes on about how SF sucks and how much better Boston is... note: she had MOVED AWAY from Boston. She is a mild example.
There are tons of BoSox fans here, and we put up with a lot. But, when I was at Fenway, the fans were great. Nice, fun crowd. I don't get it.
So it isn't all BoSox fans are jerks, just the ones that move away and have to stir up trouble at away games that are.

Thank u!!!!! An Angel fan telling it like it is. Now, I'm not uniting with Angel fans, until we learn how 2 beat them, but Red Sox fans were always jerks. Until 2004, they always said they've been the most patient, and since 2004, they think they're the best.
They also say "past never matters", but since they won in 2004, they think that we should all bow down and give them the trophy 4 the next ten years. They forgot that they have 2 play baseball (2005, 2006). They live in the past, 2004, but according 2 them, 2004 is the present.

I don't know about fights in LA, but assuming the Yankees win another title, you'll be reminded how arrogant and abrasive Yankee fans can be.
