If you can wait til after 6pm to mow that would be best for your lawn and the environment. Best for you lawn as the hot sun will not burn it out as much. It needs a drink after being cut and the night dew will provide that for your grass if you dont water. Other than that it depends on how hot it is or if the sun is out or not. Many factors in play normally after 12 noon for sure. Peace out.....

It depends on the dewpoint and how strong the sun is. Basically, as soon as the sun is hot enough to dry up the dew from the previous night, you should be good to go. It helps to not wait so long that the grass clumps because of its length. It'll also help to get a mulching mower.

How early you can mow is determined by how fast the dew/rain? from the night before drys. Walk through your lawn. If your shoes get wet you need to wait awhile longer.
