Very few people reamain close friends forever. So don't worry about hurting their feelings if you are helping them for their best interest. If they get upset and stop talking to you, oh well, at leastyour concious is clear. This doesn't mean you go up to someone with bad acne and say, "dude, do something about your face." There is common sense sensitivity, but if someone is shooting up all the time, it's fine to say, "hey, you're becomming a wasted piece of sh*t."
