So my second question is why do we have so many female cops

OK just as I fugued not to many answer that are facts .Woman could never stand toe to toe with a male football player hockey and you should be able to at pool but you cant whats up with that

Why do guys think they are equal when they can't even sew on a zipper, or bake a muffin or raise a baby? Why do people think they are superior to a polar bear when they can't even swim in the Arctic ocean naked or win a wrestling match with one?

I hope those questions are as stupid as yours. In fact there are guys who raise babies, bake muffins and sew on zippers, just as there are women who lift weights, play hockey and other sports and accomplish incredible physical feats.

If you want to pick a particular thing, any thing, you'll find that both sexes do it, and it's not a foregone conclusion that any one does it better than another. It's just that not all members of a gender do all things and why should they?

I'm a guy but I don't compete in sports at all, I think sports are for dull, intellectually challenged jocks who have no intellect to accomplish anything else in life. So does that make me unequal as well? Perhaps, but if you're ever in a really serious mess, I happen to have a talent for troubleshooting problems and solving them. Does that perhaps make you less equal?

Each gender is a bit different in a variety of ways but that doesn't make one less than the other, when you add up all the strengths and weaknsses both come out equal and it's about time you came to understand that.

Oh yes, and why do we have so many women cops? First of all there aren't that many, we need more. And why? simple, you clearly don't understand women, so you don't have a hope in hell of being able to solve any of their problems whereas a woman cop can. Since there's an equal number of women as there are men (statistically) we need an equal number of women cops as we have men.

Alas that's not going to happen, there aren't that many women interested in being cops but then it doesn't matter, there aren't as many women committing crimes as there are guys either. I suppose that's one reason girls shouldn't consider themselves equal to men, the men are more infantile as you have clearly demonstrated, so they can't be equal, they can only be superior to men.

Wooooh! Lets slow down and really think about this. Women are typically not "Physically" equal. How many woman fire fighters died in the WTC? When I am working on the streets in full uniform, I am happy to work with my female counterparts, however, there are only a few that I will feel ok with when it comes to fighting someone. (The same goes for the men that I know cannot fight).

My wife feels the same as some of you women out there. Let me clarify. When she says she wants things equal, then in addition to me folding clothes, doing dishes, cooking cleaning and taking care of the kids all day before I go to work (swing shift), does she mean she is also willing to take care of the car repairs, pick weeds in the grass, mow the lawn, repair things in the house and clean the gutters on top of the house? She should be willing to do those things if she wants to be equal. Notice I did not mention when she hears something at night downstairs and wants me to go deal with it. Equal means either one of us can go deal with it...right?

Just my opinion.

Well. quite honestly I think female cops to a better job.....better job doesn't mean I would ever chose to have a female cop pull me over rather than a male one....and I'm female.
Because the chances of getting away with anything from a female cop is a lot lower than a male.
Men let things like a pretty girl change their judgement, women don't budge when it's a hot guy.

Girls can compete with men. It's just that for some reason, in the sporting world, the teams are divided so that the females play-off against each other and the males do so amongst themselves. It's not that they cannot beat the men, in my opinion there are many sportswomen out there who would win against a man in their division hands down.

Secondly, I think there are so many female policewomen out there because women are far more intelligent than men.

And also, judging by your remarks, are a lot less biased.

I believe that women are built differently than men. I do think there are certain jobs we just are not capable of doing like a man.
For example, I would feel more comfortable having a male {instead of a female} firefighter rescue me from my home because I think he has more upper body strength to carry me to safety.
God made us differently for a reason...if we were all the 'same', we'd all be men or we'd all be women. But we're not!

there are so many female cops because being a cop is an occupation just like all others. You apply, meet the qualifications & get hired. Simple as that.

We don't. We will never be equal with men. Hell, apart from sports, we are better than you. We don't compete with you. Maybe you compete with us.

Why many female cops? It's because men aren't doing their jobs or because men are too serious doing their jobs that they need some distractions. (smile!)

We are equal, as people. Just we may not all be equal in skill level. Guys do some things better than girls and girls do some things better than guys, simple enough.

don't generalize..there are some girls better than boys.. But, its human nature, its natural that boys have more strength in that area its how we were built..they have less fat, capable to have more muscle mass etc..
We probably have more female cops just cause most females like to help others, the cops just enjoy what they do.. i don't think it has to do with gender that much, i think its more of a preference, a coincidence.

I compete in a sport that is dominated by males and I'm very good at it. So there is no doubt in my mind that I am at least equal to any man in my sport.
