you can't teach an old dog new tricks......
People who vote for bush are god-fearing morons who don't understand a think about politics. Why would it change?
Arnold became Gov. because California thought it would be funny... Kind of like keeping Sanjaya on american idol for so long........
then it got screwed... He's actually getting a bit better to be honest

Considering that Congress scores even lower than Bush, I think this applies more to them than the president.
The president really has very little power. Anything he does is funded by, continued by, or prevented by Congress.
We could be out of Iraq tomorrow if Congress cut funding to it. They had their chance and didn't do it.
We could have significantly more oversight of the deceptive practices of oil and gas trading. We don't because Congress isn't interested (many of them from both sides of the aisle have significant oil and gas in their portfolios!).
We could also have many more refineries in place, to address the so-called supply and demand. Again, Congress has prevented this.
Our success in the 90's was largely due to the practices of the initiatives put forth by Newt Gingrich. Gingrich led Congress to reform welfare, reduce spending and turn the deficit into a surplus, and balance the budget. And for that he was lambasted, and instead Clinton took credit!
Unfortunately, I can't vote the extremist left out of their Senatorial and Congressional positions. The people we entrust to do that haven't been doing their job.
_____________
Also, you CANNOT support the troops unless you fully support their mission. Supporting the people but not what they are risking their lives to accomplish is meaningless and self-delusional.
If you don't support the mission, you do not support the troops. Just say it. There's nothing wrong with the truth.

I didn't vote for him, but I'm sure most people wish they hadn't.
It would be unpatriotic to still support Bush.
And to the Guy in CA who says that illegals give Dems all the votes, explain how Arnold became Governor.

Wow, if you were just trying to see how many truly ignorant people there are, out there, you're doing great. Either ignorant, stubborn, or lying.
How could anyone still support Bush? Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, would have been better than Bush. Nixon, Reagan, my dead cat, Al Sharpton, Rosie, Newt (well, maybe not Newt), anyone.

Being he ran against Al Gore and John Kerry there is not one millisecond that I regret voting for Bush and I would do the same today. And if he could run against Hillary I'd vote for him again.
Until the Dems get a viable candidate, the Repubs are the lesser of two evils as far as I am concerned

Sure they would have, but they'll never admit it. George Bush stole the first "election" but won the second one by misleading Americans into thinking he was the Superman who could round up all the bad guys.

Yes. I did not like Kerry, but then, I considered Bush to be the lesser of the two evils.

No way. No matter what Bush may have done wrong, he is STILL far better that John "Flip-flop-flip" Kerry and Al "Trees are better than you" Gore.
