Kobe fans, hopefully you can shed some light for me...

Kobe says he wants to be traded, then retracts it.

Its generally accepted that it was a ploy to force the front office into doing something they werent doing. He used the media, and the fans against his team and the people who pay his contract.....

So why are you all still supporting him? You seem so sure he never would have left the NBA.... So your telling me hes playing "the boy who cried wolf" in real life right now.....

His comments about Shaq were sketchy as well. Hes quoted in a TON of newspapers and radio shows as saying hes the only superstar on that team.... so again, hes shifted the blame to another person? why do you still support this childish behavior???

A toddler cries for a cookie... You DO NOT GIVE IT TO HIM! or else he will do it again next time.
Kobe Cried for a cookie when he destroyed that team... the front office should have learned... but apparently they havent, they are going to give in again

What I don't understand is why the team is letting him get away with all this. Yes, he's a good player but he proved this year that he can't carry the team by himself, which is what he seems to want to do. I don't see how any team could compete with this egomaniacal, divisive element in its midst.

All you will get is "because Kobe is the greatest ever, that's why". It will probably be spelled wrong also. Kobe fans, if there are any left over the age of 15, just don't get it. Unless he gets teamed up with another all-star (most don't want to play with him at this point), he will never win another championship. He is a selfish player interested only interested in how many crappy shots he can hoist up in a game.

I agree completely, Kobe just wants attention. It is sad that he constantly calls out his teammates and doesnt show any act on improving them. Ray Allen and Kobe got into an argument when Shaq left, saying that Kobe will never win another title without the man that kept it all together, and he said in a few years Kobe will be complaining about the team around him. It turns out it was all true. Kobe shouldnt call out his team in front of the media its poor sportsmanship.

I like the question....but I'm sick of hearing about Kobe and I have posted 100 answers about why he's just not good for the game. Here is a good article about Kobe http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/6883282?MSNHPHCP>1=10136

Kobe sucks and so do his fans. Kobe is not the greatest ever. He is a mentally ill, rapist who has destroyed his team. I could name 100000000000 players I would rather have on my team then Kobe. I cant wait to see an answerer defend Kobe. It will probably be some 18 year old loser. I mean how could anyone defend this guy.
