I'm 15 & i'm a guy. I'm not spoiled or anything, but I am like the laziest person you will ever meet. I got dropped from school 3 months ago & all I do is sleep, eat, computer, watch tv, & sleep again. I haven't been outside walking ever since I got dropped from school. I'm going to summer school this month & then back to regular school, but i'm so used to staying at home that I can't even think about walking to the bus stop every morning. I wish I can motivate myself to do something more active and to concentrate on making a better future for myself, but then I'm like oh i'll just wait till my Senior year to worry about that & i'm going on to the 11thgrade this year. What should I do?

Please FORCE yourself do do something outside - anything!! Just get outside and away from passive mind numbing stuff like TV and computer games. You really know what you need to do, please just do it before you're too numb to care.....

What else is going on in your life? Why have you been dropped from school? What else has changed since you are sitting at home aside from sleeping all the time? Have your eating habits changed? Have your sleeping habits changed? What about friends and interactions with your parents? It sounds like you are depressed and only a physician can determine if you need some extra help to get out of the hole your in. Talk to your parents about it. Good Luck.

You only get to live once pal. If you want to be a lazy useless good for nothing blob that other productive members of society have to take care of then feel free to do so. It's ok for now but later in your life when you have nothing you will regret it. But I really could care less. I don't know if you have figured this out at your age but no one other than mommy and daddy really gives a shi+ about your lazy as5. It's up to you to do what you want with your life. Free rides in this life are usually in the back of a pickup truck on a pile of pig shi+ so enjoy the ride lazy boy!!!!

Actually, why not join the military, the real men and women over there in Iraq could use a guy like you to stand on the roadside while they do real work.

I guess you are just lost at this moment. I hope it is transitional. You need dreams and goals. Call someone or talk to someone. Get out of the house and meet people. See what they are doing and find out what they do to solve their problem. Watch the news and see what happen around the world. Ask yourself what you want to do for the rest of your life. For example, if your ambition is to be a artist; start taking lesson and do more practice till you are really good at it. Be competitive. Get a pet (e.g., cat, dog, etc.) and spend time with them; find out how to take good care of them, and meet people with same type of pet and share your experience with them.

Keep yourself busy. Remember the saying, "an idle mind is an evil workshop".

I hated going to so school and I wa a lazy bum. I didn't 'drop out' of school cus I wanted to, I had family issues. So I got a job. I missed being in schoool so much. I would have been a senior this year but I got a ged instead, it was easier but I couldn't go to prom or any senior activies I'd been looking foward to. Just stick it out, you'll come out better.

You better start to try to motivate yourself now before it gets worse.......If you lay around and do nothing for too long it is just going to get harder. Don't you have some friends you can hang out with??? Try to get out as much as possible and maybe join a healthclub/gym. It will make you feel energized and give you the motivation you need for other things. Good Luck!!!

Try to pick a sport or something that keeps you active.
There is times when ifeel like that too.
i'm going into 11th grade to and i'm trying to get into shape for soccer and there are times when i feel i dont want to do anything but then i just think about famous soccer players.
and i think about how much work and dedication they put into getting where they are right now.
So really you should find a motivation like trying to impress your parents or some else.
For years i've been trying to surpass my brother in school.
I see how much my parents praise him when he does good but my work never seems to be as great as my brother's.
so i tried sports and i was good at it and it is something that my parents praise in when i do something good. Myh motivation is trying to get some attention from people whom i dont know or from people like my parents.
you should try to do something or find something that you are good at because when you do what your good at it's going to be great since your good at it. And when people c what you've done not only would they pay attention to you they will also respect.
