Where's the OUTRAGE over what Hugo Chavez is doing is Venezuela ?

The liberals loved and lauded him when he mocks Bush and gives discounted oil to the poor. Where's Harry Belafonte and Cindy Sheehan ? How does the left feel knowing he is taking control of the media ? Plain and simple the man is a totalitarian dictator who should have been captured when he came to speak at the U.N.

I'll tell you where liberals are. They are cowering under their rocks until they can TRY and blame Bush for something else. The cowards should be deported to Venezuela or Cuba or Iran.

Do you know in addition to controlling the press, he is also about to take over the church and have himself named as Venezuela's pope, or supreme religious leader, as well? This is rarely mentioned in the news.

It is outrageous, but if we locked up all the dictators, a quarter of the world's nations would be without a leader. Besides, being a totalitarian dictator is not a crime. What would you have them lock him up for? If a country like the US decided to attack Chavez, who was democratically elected, which would appear to be the crazy powergrabbing maniac?

We can't fix all the world's problems before they happen--trying to stop him before he ruins that country will only make him seem more right to his followers. It stinks, but we almost have to wait for him to commit crimes against humanity--crimes against freedom just aren't enforceable laws.
