ANY BASEBALL PLAYER!!! Or that soccer player David Beckham....

2007-06-04 07:30:49 · answer #1 · answered by Carolina Kitten 6 · 0 1

Okay. If we take a glance away from the mainstream to see the kind of money that David Beckham is making- 250 million over 5 years which comes out to 90 dollars per second spent on the field! And this is a washed up player who is participating in sport that most people in America don't care about. All of the people mentioned before at least provide entertainment, and remember, A-ROD's contract is 252 million over 10 years, that is twice the amount of time of Beckhams contract and only 2 million more. There is no way a soccer player in AMERICA should be making more than the highest paid player in baseball- the nations "pastime".

Adam " Pacman" Jones. Not everyone gets a chance to play in the NFL let alone be a starter. When a team takes within the top 10 that usually means that the see something special in you. Although you were brought up in the "hood" doesn't mean you you have to remain a street thug. This is coming from a person that knows pacman well. I'm from College Park, GA and grew up with and played against him. He never wanted to be a sellout so he kept the same friends around him. I think he is a talented player that is wasting the God given ability for the "thug life".

J. Weaver from the Seattle Mariners. Big contract but throws like a little girl. Jaret Wright from the Baltimore Orioles and Carl Pavano from the NY Yankees are two more baseball pitchers who sucks.

Jamal Mashburn in the NBA still gets paid for not playing anymore.

The number one has to be Carl Pavano of the Yankees who is in the 3rd year of a $40 million 4 year contract and has only pitched in about 5 games. He is out for this season again.

To give someone the amount of money A-Rod gets even if they are good is ridiculous. But to say pay them nothing would mean they are slaves. Owners get at least double the whole team salary a year and more if their players perform. The jersey sales and all factors into how much an athlete is worth. None of you would say that if you were that blessed.

Eli Manning NY Giants- He doesn't show anything of enthusiasm on the field and this has caused other players to lose confidence in him. Eli just should watch Jeff Garcia play... He is a true leader. He make everybody around him play at his level. Giants should trade him now while they can maybe he able to be the backup for big brother.

Billy Donovan (Florida or Orlando's coach) first and for most what a idiot.
Chris Webber (pistons)
Nazir Muhammaed (pistons)
Nate clements (49ers formerly bills)
Joey porter (Dolphins)
Darius Miles (Trailblazers)
Lou Pinella (The cubs just might be the worst franchise in the history of sports.)

I agree...none of them deserve the money they make. In the real world, a vast majority of them would not be smart enough to work at Burger King.

None of them deserve to make that much money (millions) for playing a game.
