My family and I have planned a vacation trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenneessee for the weekend coming up. However, I have already looked on weather.com and there is some precipitation, like 30% of rain on Saturday and Sunday. I dread that because we have planned to go to Dollywood on Sunday and then go to the Dixie Stampede on Sunday night. Should I worry about the weather so much or can we still go even if it rains? I mean, are there lots of things at Dollywood that you can do indoors? Also, is the Dixie Stampede indoors? I know that the weather precipitation can change from now to then, but how usual is it for it to rain around this time in Tenneesee? Please share past experiences and ideas.

You're not made of sugar are you? Get out there and enjoy it rain or shine!! It's only 30% chance. That's not a total washed-out day. You'll have fun. Don't fret!

i guess i'm wondering, do you have a choice? is your family going to go regardless of whether you checked the weather channel and noticed there will be rain? in that case, stop worrying about it and try to have the best time possible. otherwise, what are you going to do? cancel the trip? that seems to be your only other option and you never know if another weekend is going to better.

You need to relax. Just enjoy yourself. Go with the flow. Don't panic about it. What good is it going to do you??? You will only end up not enjoying yourself. You can't change it. Chin up!!! :) Have a good time!!

30% is nothing to worry about!!!! That's silly to worry about... and if there is anything, it shouldn't be much...and you will still have a great time even if it does get wet.
