You lost a friend and you lost your dog, you have reason to cry. Give yourself time to grieve over the losses you've suffered. If, in a few weeks or so, your grief still seems unreasonable to you, seek help with a counselor.

I'm so sorry about your losses . It's hard to stop crying in an instance such as this. Maybe take your other dog out for a walk. It would be good for him..and you. Maybe if you can concentrate on him , it will help you cry less. Or just try and stay occupied as much as you can. It will help too.

The hurt will get better...bit...by bit.

i would say just kinda let it go... what choice do you have? no matter what you do, your friend and dog are NOT coming back. But that doesnt mean that life for YOU is over, things like that happen, and it sucks and its horrible, but you just have to let it go, little by little. The memory is the hardest to let go i think, because just as youre getting over it, you kinda dont want to because then the great memories with that person slowly start to fade too. So, my suggestion is just be sad, but dont be depressed. Huge difference. Maybe, if things dont get better soon, see a psychologist

You will stop crying so much over time. In the meantime try to be around family and friends and try to keep busy. If you are by yourself and you like reading find a really good book to read. If you are really into the book you will forget for a while.

Call a local mental health hotline- their numbers are in the phone book, and you can talk to someone there who will listen and help you sort out your feelings. You have a lot of anger and grief to work through, and you need the comfort of having someone around who is trained and can help you get through this awful period in your life. I'm sorry for your losses. Best of luck.

So sorry about your dog. They are our best friends. Did your dog get hurt or did he pass away? I couldn't tell from your message. It was an accident. You've got to remember that. Obviously you care for him alot. Dogs know when you do. Take care.

Get thee to a therapist! Those are very difficult situations to deal with. I highly recommend talking to your doctor about it and getting referred to gried counseling. Good luck!
