I feel like 90% of my restaurant visits end in something getting screwed up. Everywhere I go, the forget something, bring me the wrong thing, or have the wrong toppings, etc... I know it's not always convenient for them to have to deal with special orders, however, that's the way I want it. I'm to the point where i want to stop eating out because I feel like my order is never right!!!

Oh heck no! It happens all the time to me too, I'm just really careful about checking take out orders now, and I make the waiter/ess take anything back that isn't done right! It seems like the more assertive I get, the less mess-ups there are.
Last week I went to a drive through, ordered a regular hamburger, curly fries, and a strawberry shake. I got a chocolate shake, regular fries, and a chicken sandwich! I marched into that restaurant, asked for the manager, showed him my receipt and had him look at what I was served. I was given the meal I ordered at no cost, and was given coupons that will probably cover two more meals.
I swear I think it really is a curse until you stand up to it! Then it seems to get better when you refuse to put up with slip-shod service! Try it and have a great week ahead! Annie

i know where you are coming from,i have special orders - because i don't like certain things etc - how hard is it really to leave off something? my order is wrong i'd say 90% of the time, and half the time - when the order is correct,there is a damn hair in it.
that is why,i usually just eat at home.

Boy, you must be a fun customer to serve....I'd screw your order up too because you obviously aren't grateful for what you ARE given. Are you thankful for the orders that don't get messed up? Poor thing, living in a country where your biggest issue is being served the wrong food. Go to a third world country for a week and eat grubs (because that is all there is to eat) or walk several dozen miles to gather water for the day just to survive and see how important getting your salad dressing on the side really is....

ur not the only one. When me an my mom go out to eat she always get her orders wrong, but she still eats out

it happens to me too ;) though the problem i have is that alot of the people in the places i eat at are foreign and sometimes don't know what you're trying to say! i end up repeating myself all the time..

nope. there is a drive thru close to my house that never gets my drink orders correct.

i know what you mean, it is almost like they mean to mess up your order, i hate it, i have even stopped going to certain places because of it.
