get rid of the 1/x^2 s because one's positive and one's negative

then you have 2x-x-12+x+x-6
which is (2x-x+x+x)+(-12-6)
which is 3x-18
so your answer is 3x-18
which is 3(x-6)

Combine terms

2x - x - 12 + x + x - 6

3x - 18

3(x - 6)
