To be honest, both republicans and democrats have had issues with the condonement of corruption. Neither political party has a clean record.

Corruption is rampant on both sides of the political fence. Can't put that one just on Democrats. I think I can point to Nixon and rest my case.
Republicans do what they say? No - they lie about it to get everyone on board, and then do what they WANT. To hell with the rest - we do what we want to do. THAT is the Republican motto.
I will vote for the person that is there at election time and will best represent my desires for this country. I rarely switch my vote simply because someone says I should.

What corrupt politicians? Don't you think that starting a war for fun is corrupt? That was a Republican. What about bankrupting the treasury, cutting taxes for billionaires and putting us a trillion dollars in debt to the Communists in China. Isn't that corrupt? What about the $8 billion that just "disappeared" in Iraq? That is a LOT of money!!! THAT is corrupt. Why would anybody vote for more of that? Vote Democratic, Save America!

The perception right now in this country is that the Republican Party is reeking of corruption, from the White House on down. You seem to be mightily confused on this one. Both parties have their corruption problems, but the Democrats are no where near the corruption meltdown the Republicans have been having.

They do what they say? That's a good one. The reason that they all got voted out of office this past election was because they didn't do what they said they would do. Social Security reform? Nope. Immigration reform? nope. Banning gay marriage? nope. Those were big hot button issues which many of the GOp candidates ran on and they accomplished nothing even with a gop controlled house, sentate, and executive branch.

corruption has been a huge problem for the GOP lately and only on a much smaller scale for democrats, so I'm not sure what you're referencing here.
