yes, you can request to have a c-section done. However in general a vaginal birth is best for both mother and baby.

Very doubtful unless it is MEDICALLY necessary. C-sections are dangerous. They put you at risk and also the baby. Most doctors don't do c-sections unless the mother has had one previously or there are problems.

Giving birth vaginally is not that bad. You forget about the pain. And you won't have a big ugly scar and weeks and weeks of painful recuperation to deal with.

Yes you can have a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks.

Of course you can, but your doctor can turn it down. I had two c-sections and wish I had been able to give birth to my kids vaginally - if that counts for anything.

Yes absolutely. You have an option! But Vaginal birth is always the best for you and the baby.

Typically a doctor will not preform a c-section unless it is medically necessary.

Yes you can. You speak with your doctor, and then you give your reasons and if he sees you would be a good candidate, then he'll schedule the operation and then you'll just go on normally with your prenatal and such..

Yes, you can. But without a medical need I don't understand why you would want one. And it depends on the OB if they will let you or not. Some will and some will not.

yes you can but i wouldn't do it, you can't walk for days and when you do you really hurt. don't do it by choice, only if you have to. natural birth is the best.
