32.. just multiply 16 by 2

49.. first convert cm to m
area of counter top = 300cm by 200 cm
=60000cm

area of tile= 10.5^2

number of tiles needed
divide 60000 by 110.25 (10.5 squared)
=544.21
ans= 544

and....
3 feet = 1 in
therefore, 12 feet = 1/3*12=4 inches

Armen is covering his countertop with new tile. His countertop is 3 meters long and 2 meters wide. Each square tile is 10.5 centimeters on either side. Approximately how many tiles does Armen need to cover his countertop?

3 meters = 300 centimeters
2 meters = 200 centimeters

The area of the countertop = 2m x 3m OR 200 cm x 300 cm =
60,000 cm²

Since each tile is 10.5 cm by 10.5 cm, the area of one tile is
10.5 x 10.5 = 110.25 cm²

The total area divided by the area per tile =
60,000 ÷ 110.25 = 544.2 tiles

544 <== answer

1cm repressents 16 meters
therefore 16 cm represents 32 meters

countertop area = 2*3 = 6m^2 = 60000 cm^2
Thus 60,000/10.5^2 = 544

1 inch = 3 feet
So 4inches = 12 feet
