I was a Democrat, but the party migrated too far left for me and even though I am not a Republican, I find myself voting for them more than the Democrats. I'm from the South, and most of the Republicans I vote for were once Democrats. Most Democrats are too liberal for my taste in many issues.

Sorry , can't help you . I was a Republican until sometime in the 90's. I consider myself to be an Independent, but might as well be a Democrat as I haven't seen a scenario yet that would get me to vote Republican.

I switched from Democrat to Libertarian. The main issues I had with the Democrats were spending and infringing on individual liberties. Unfortunately, the Republicans have those same issues. No such issues with the Libertarians, though.

I'm staying an Independent swing voter. But, I will vote Democrat or Independent until the Republicans get their act together - which doesn't seem to be anytime soon.

I did the opposite several years ago. Reagan was the last Republican I voted for and the last decent one.

I switched from Republican to Independent - but that isn't what you asked.

I switched from Republican to Democratic. Reality counts. Competence counts. Rush Limbaugh's drug delusions are worthless--worse than worthless--look where conservatism has led this country.

That is an impossible question to answer. A lot of people vote by candidate, and not by Party.
