I am republican, one, I am poor, I dislike war, my wife, and I drive two four cylinder car. two, there is an endless supply of fuel, there is no shortage of gas. there is just a lot of greed out there. I don't make fun of anyone myself. the rich get richer I agree, but that is the case whether there is a rep, or a dem, in the white house. I myself am in a case right now where a man attacked me, and I had the back bone to protect myself, but the commonwealth of virginia done away with the self defense law, so I am facing a class 6 felony charge for defending my self against an attacker. I myself walk upright with my head held high. the goverment of this country not just the republicans have turned our society into a sissy society. our rights as human beings that men and women have fought and died for republicans and democrats alike, are being withdrawn daily and the cowardly people of this country is doing nothing to fight back! The people of this country is letting many years of thousands of deaths for our rights be in vein! People, republicans and democrats alike have been backed into a corner and are coworing down like mice, because of our goverment. So don't give me this crap that it is only the republicans.

You either do not watch the news much, do much research, or are blinded by your bias. Do you happen to know what the net worth of any of the Democratic candidates are? Do you what kinds of cars that they drive? If you knew the answers to these questions, I think you would see how it's not just a symptom of Republicans and Conservatives, but of politicians that people vote for. For example: Obama reported an income just shy of $1million this past year, Hillary Clinton has a pretty cush income and just had $26 million laying around to start her Presidential Bid, and John Edwards lives in a $6 million dollar mansion, not to mention what he earned suing doctors and hospitals (which is one reason we pay so much for our healthcare. Those people have to pay for their insurance in the event that they would get sued). I guess you also forget that all three of these people are successful trial lawyers who sue the crap out of people and businesses to get their riches (How spineless is that?). I guess, this is just a small bit of information that I have gathered on some candidates. I'm not going to say that Republicans are better, but I 'm not going to say that Democrats are worthy and honorable people either. When the Democrats have this much money, which is more than some of the Republican candidates, what is their motivation to lower our (the middle class) taxes? Why would they want to raise their own taxes? They haven't done it before, why should we believe that they will do it now?
While you acknowledge that the Democrats are similar because they have money, how are they then different? You spoke in a generality that I see as killing people and getting rid of obstacles, but none of that seems to be different than any other rich Democrat. They are willing to strip a doctor of their practice to gain their money, or to overcharge people for their legal counsel. If you are referring to the war in Iraq, nobody is making money on that except maybe the companies that make the weapons and equipment being used, but I don't believe that any of our government leaders have their pockets involved with those government contracts. I'm sure Democrats would have been the first to point it out if there were (unless of course their pockets are in it too in which your claim is still weak that this is only a Conservative Republican syndrome). Anyway, I hope this is enlightening to a certain degree. This is by no means my most organized response, but hopefully the main point is made that this is a Politician problem, and it's not isolated to one side or the other.

So you don't really have a question. You just wanted to vent your frustration at being excluded from the wealthier class. And you believe that the liberal system of government handouts to the havenots like yourself will make everything better.
One thing you need to consider: the government makes NO money, ever. It produces nothing. Every dime it spends it has collected from those hard working people you seem to despise. Even people like me who wants to be a success yet I am hampered by high taxes. Also know this, the biggest liberals of them all are among the richest people in the world. They are old money. Meaning their family made their money generations ago, usually they were the worst of exploiters in history.
Now the descendants of these robber barons are obsessed with keeping others from joining the privileged class. They do this by convincing you that there is something wrong with people earning large amounts of money by their own effort. And you bought into it.

That's a tough one. Being a conservative myself, I'm going to make this comparison that I believe is pretty close. It is like the difference in the spread of intelligence for men and women. The bell curves look different. You find men more at the extremes than you do women, as in men are more likely to be very intelligent and very dumb than are women. I would say conservatives are like women and are spread evenly whereas liberals are more concentrated at the ends. Both still look close to the bell curve, but the liberals' bell curve is a bit shorter in the middle. I also want to point out though that I believe this is a correlation that does not mean causality. We tend to think, for example, that the fact that academics are generally liberal must mean that the more intelligent people are liberals. There are a few problems with this. First off, everything is subject to political culture and enculturates its members. What that means is that basically the academic world is a liberal culture, and so attracts liberals and breeds them. This applies to both sides of the political spectrum. Second, we have seen some 'brilliant' liberals lead us into disasters. Think of Kennedy's academic advisers who were convinced that infrastructural collapse in Vietnam would lead to its surrender. I could have told you better than that. Anybody with a decent grasp of history could have. Just think of the First Anglo-Afghan war between the British and the Afghans. That went well. They're more often interested in proving their theories than they are in reality. So, to answer your question, no, I don't really think so. The difference is slight, and because of factors like political enculturation, does not reflect causality but correlation.

Yeah those Republicans. How dare they bring us a booming economy with lots of jobs. It scares you that things are so good that they may have to cut back on your many useless entitlements that take away from the hard working Republicans. BTW, I think you are missing the point. Liberals ARE fun to mock because they actually take tnemselves seriously. I am guessing "timmie is underemployed or unemployed at the moment. When you actually start to make money, you will not want to hand it over to a third generation welfare family either.

This is the dumbest thing I've heard in about... well a few minutes.
Seems like you're mad because you're poor and you're looking for somebody else to blame... typical liberal. Anyway...
I live in San Fran and there's plenty of liberals driving SUVs. Everybody likes money because you need it to live and buy *fun* things. I see more than enough Bush bashing on TV and in this screwed up city-- and I don't even like Bush! I know you won't like this but the rich had to start working somehow to get their money and deserve every penny of it. If you know how to work the system then you should get the cash. It shouldn't be given out in droves to a bunch of crybabies that sit around, "I hate Bush, I hate conservatives. I should be rich but I can't seem to get my a** off this couch to turn off the TV and make something of my life."
Republicans doesn't nec. = conservative and vice versa. Republicans don't have a caste system... it works like this: If you're willing to get off your a** and work, more power to you. If you get rich off of it, awesome.
You're living in a f-ing fantasy land if you think liberal politicians don't "murder, displace people and resources for their own benefit." You are uber delusional.
Liberals are some of the most spineless people I know. They say one thing, do another and want to destory the country in the name of equality. Republicans really haven't done anything positive for our country lately either. Bah.

I am a democrat. You do not represent me.
Exaggeration, name calling, spreading false rumors. These are the tools of the seditious and the socialist.
They turn us against each other (or try to if you let them).
I've faced down the people using "democrat" as their banner while attacking fellow Americans for no purpose than to feed their own overinflated egos. How about you?
I disagree, dissent, and protest when I see Republican legislation I oppose. I do so without being seditious about it.
When I see socialism in it's endless march to destroy our way of life, to end capitalism, to end patriotism, to end democracy, I face it head on.
Love of money? I am a capitalist. I EARN money.
War? Yes, when they attack our country or our allies.
Gasoline? Yes, as unlike Japan where gasoline is VERY expensive, it is not yet worth it to gut our industries for technology we cannot yet afford, yet we already doing everything we can to research it.
Making fun of liberals? Nope, not here. I take liberals VERY seriously as long as they have socialists amongst their ranks.
Castes? Not in the American Dream. That's why this argument about poor vs. rich doesn't work. The poor get rich at times, and the rich get poor sometimes, and we all see it.
Slither? No. I see fellow Americans I disagree with. Patriotic ones see me as well. We treat each other well even as we oppose each other's methods of helping the United States succeed, but that's the key!
WE SUPPORT THE U.S.A.! YOU DON'T!

You're only partly right Timmie. The extreme left and right toil endlessly to keep the middle class apart. Thats how they keep control. For fourty years I've heard idiots on both sides of the aisle proclaim how they are going to help the middle class (those of us who pay the bills). Now here we are in 2007 and they want us to pay for the legal services for people who are here illegally with our tax money.
The 10 percent fringe on both sides have everyones ear because they squeek and ramble the loudest. The 80 percent of us in the middle are the victims and generally there's not a dimes worth of difference in us. All we do is work and pay the bills so these idiots can get their faces on TV.

Hi,
You must be one of those welfare sucking scumbags that the Demo's give hard working Conservatives money to once they steal it in the form of taxes. Nice try, but your comments show your total lack of intelligence. Get a job, and learn what it's like to earn your way through life. In this country a person can actually get rich by working hard and being educated....you my belly aching friend will never make it with that whinny pitty me for living attitude you have. How's you diaper? Does it need changing ? Maybe you can get yo Mam ma to do it? Cause it looks like she may have raised a village idiot!

They may not be spineless. They may just be going about their business instead of trying to run everyone elses,. When was the last time Congress had a positive impact on the economy aside from the Bush and Reagan tax cuts.
