she was going on about how people are wrong to critisize the McCann's for leaving three babies in an unlocked room in a foreign country to go out for dinner and a a few drinks. Then there was an area (on the internet version of the paper) where people are invited to give their comments..... so I did, I explained my reasons why I hold the selfish parents responsible for allowing their child to be abducted, and guess what? My "comments" weren't shown! There were loads of other comments that were shown, but they were just the ones supporting the selfish parents!

Did anyone else write a comment disagreeing with Ulrika, if so, was it shown?

As I thought, three of us wrote comments to say that we didn't agree with Ulrika, and none of our comments were shown.....hmmmmmm

Yes I did and it was not shown. I can not believe that anyone would find it ok to leave their child in that situation, I am a mother of one and I worry about putting the rubbish out while my child is inside alone. If it had been a single mother or a couple of what the public see as lower social standings than two doctors they would have been condemned by now and I believe had very little media support. I still can not believe how two educated professionals would think it was ok to wine and dine away from their children yes in all fairness you may not imagine the darkest nightmare of a child being abducted but hello what about the risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning that was in the news not so long back taking two children's lives, any form of accident that may occur if the child wakes in the night in strange surroundings???

I'm sorry but Ulrika is the last person whose opinion on this counts.

She has three kids for three fathers; two broken marriages; has had numerous affairs with married men and otherwise -not quite sure why anyone would even be remotely in what she had to say, esp when it comes to parenting good or bad.

I wouldn't be be suprised if she did leave her kids the same way as the McCanns did because she strikes me as that sort of person.

Whatever she says should be taken with a very large pinch of salt, or better still completely ignored.

I am being very judgemental here but I suspect Ulrika has full sympathy for the McCanns simply because she probably leaves her kids too! She is another overrated has been!
And her knickers are down more than a hookers!

I would advise Kate to keep an eye on Gerry if he meets up with yo yo knickers Ulrika!

Ulrika Johnsonn is a self-opinionated ex-weather girl who knows sod-all.

She's got 3 kids, by 3 different men, and used to like shagging footballers and blokes from The Gladiators.

Her views on childcare/family life are not even relevant

Despite Ulrikas "colourful" past I have always liked her cloumn, and about the rape issue, she was the victim, never mind the rapists career, she never named him.

However - when I read the column yesterday I was appalled, by her comparing it to the downstairs bedroom she puts her Bo in and sits upstairs, in Sweden with the windows open on a warm eve. Its just not the same whatsoever. Paedophiles dont just come walking in they wait and plan if the parents dont seem to keep an eye on the child.

Yeah she let herself down ther did Ulrika.

Yes I did see that in the News of the World yesterday and the same thing happened to me. Looks like they are avoiding the truth for some strange reason. No good mother would neglect her children in the first place. What you said is so true.

I have had five children and would never have left them in such a situation. Clearly Ulrika might. That does not surprise me!

I would have as much faith in leaving my kids with Ulrika as I would with Gerry McCann.

And I think everyone knows my opinions on Gerry ...........

I am sorry I dont trust her anyway..she is out of the media spotlight and talking to the News of The World ..what does that say...

I stopped trusting her when she outed her rape in her autobiography knowing full well what it would do to that persons career ....

I do apologise but if you have been raped then tell the police about it! and prosecute that person ....dont let it be until you wantto sell your auto bio...
