What is the angle of elevation of the sun when a tree 12 m tall casts a shadow 20 m long? Round your answer to the nearest degree.

Draw a right angled triangle with horizontal 20 m and vertical of 12 m
tan A = 12 / 20
A = 30.1 ° is angle of elevation.

x = 30.96 ................31 degrees
