anyone tried it? im thinking about getting it but not sure if it will work as well as they make it seem..i need a good sheer makeup that will even skin tone and maybe cover up some freckles?

I started using it about a month ago, and I LOVE it. If you go to Sephora, you can try it for free, and they have a special starter kit that includes everything you need. The starter kit they sell on TV and at Ulta doesn't have the same stuff; I like the Sephora one better. I wanted something that looked really natural, and this is definitely it. It doesn't rub off very much, and still looks pretty good by the end of the day. I have really oily skin, so I do have to blot once or twice a day (surprisingly, toilet seat covers work amazingly well for that), and then it looks good as new.
Also, Bare Minerals is really light, and not cakey at all, so your skin can still breathe. It doesn't clog your pores, and I've noticed my skin looking better since I started using it, even when I'm not wearing makeup. Highly recommended!

oh yes it is wonderful! I would consistently go to bed without washing my old make-up off which causes breakouts.Bare essentials doesn't! I can't believe how great this make-up is. I'm in my late 30's & have very uneven skin tone, some freckles, and scars. This covers it all and looks shear, doesn't feel cakey & I get tons of compliments. It is easy and quick

I use this and LOVE it.....I am 22 and have been using it for 3+ years..... I wont ever go back to liquid foundation.......It works really well......It does even your skin tone and the mineral veil is awesome......I have TONS of freckles, and this works really good to cover them......I love this makeup because it makes your makeup look so natural and not "caked" on like liquid foundation......I definitely recommend it!!!!!

My neighbor wears it and she is 34 years old and she looks great when she wears it and it makes her look flawless and younger and she has been using it for 3 years and she said she used to break out all the time but when she switched to bare minerals makeup, she doesn't even have a problem. i think you should go for it.

I've never tried it because it's really expensive. I use everyday minerals. They're the same thing, only cheaper ($8 for blush). You can also go on their website and get a free sample kit. It lasted a couple of months for me.
