What to Wear in Nashville, TN?
I am from Northern California and I am traveling to Nashville, TN. I haven't really been outside of the state and have no idea what clothes to pack. I will be there from June 7-11th weather.com says there is going to to isolated & Scattered thunder storms.. Any suggestions for handling the weather. I am going to a four day long outdoor event. Please Help!

I live in nashville! you just need to pack summer cloths! on weather.com it should also tell the temp. which are pretty high. but like i said just regular summer cloths and bring sa umbrella just in case.
BY the way the guy tellin you to look all country is so wrong!!! we dont do that anymore!!!

I would definately bring some rain gear but most imortant is a cowboy hat and if you have them cowboy boots. Don't forget a bandana to tie around your neck. Nashville is country and western so if you want to fit right in bring also jeans and jean shorts and a checkered shirt. It can get pretty hot there but in a nutshell you want to have the cowgirl look not the surfer girl look and have fun. A nice leather belt with a western belt clasp would work too.

j_me is right. The only thing I would add is that the rain here in Nashville is different than you are used to. In CA it's usually colder when it rains, but here even though it cools down a few degrees, it's still nice and warm.

Hello, I'm from Southern CA, and I went to Nashville last Sept. The weather was great/warm, not humid..(but it's summer time now) I'm betting you could wear the sames things we were here ( So Cal), capri's, shorts, sandels, etc.

pack cool loose fitting clothes, if you will be outdoors a lot, get some rain gear - like light raincoat - not plastic. maybe an umbrella, when they say scattered it means just that - the rain mght just miss you - have fun

Jeans, A tee, and bring a jacket,tennis shoes. Trust me it is HOT. ODNT FORGET YOU BATHING SUIT!!!! And somthing to keep you occupied on the way up/back.
