Mom knows best because she was a girl too. This means that your body is going through changes into becoming a young lady and you are close to starting your period.

Most females have occasional vaginal discharges. If they are colorless and odorless, it is probably perfectly normal. Some women have a little all the time, some only have it around the time of ovulation (after menstruation, a mucous plug forms on the cervix to protect the uterus; this plug loosens and falls away just before ovulation to allow sperm to enter the cervix for fertilization)

IF, however, there is yellow or green color, foul odor, a lumpy/cottage cheese texture, or itching/burning along with it, then it's time to go to the doctor as it could be a sign of infection.

Whenever you have questions about your body (and you want reassurance that your mom's answer is correct), I encourage you to pick up the phone and call your pediatrician. This is something you can do by yourself and I guarantee that there is no question you can ask him or her that has not been asked before.

Good luck

Mom's right. It's normal. We all have that. If there is a lot of it and you are not feeling clean... ask Mom for some help. There are a lot of products out there now for girls growing up.

Yes this is normal. It means you are in puberty.

Yes, it's quite normal. It's the shedding of cells from your vagina & uterus.
