Last time i went to the doctor was at 8 weeks. He told me i have a tilted uterus. I am so worried that they won't be able to hear the heartbeat with a dopple today. He tried to hear it with a dopler at 8 weeks but couldn't (said it was too early) but they did a vaginal ultrasound and i saw the baby and heard it that way. Anyone else have a tipped uterus?

I've heard of it a few times in the hospital that I work at. At 12 weeks they should surely hear it via doppler. At 8 weeks the heartbeat is just starting and can be too faint for a doppler, but at 12 weeks as long as they tilt the doppler right they should be able to hear it. Otherwise it's another vaginal ultrasound for you - but either way it should be reassuring.

They didn't try hearing the heartbeat on me with a dopple. They did a vaginal ultrasound and i heard it that way at almost 9 wks. I am 10 weeks now and I go back on the 25th. Good luck!

There isn't any such factor as a risk-free zone, there may be continuously a hazard of miscarriage and stillbirth in being pregnant, after week 14 the possibilities of miscarriage decrease on the grounds that the placenta is totally running now and your hormones return to a traditional stage. Don't fear approximately it, every person will get scared, i have no idea any mom who wasn't fearful of upcoming ultrasounds and so on. Your health practitioner under no circumstances listened for the heart beat whilst you have been round 10 weeks on the grounds that many times at that gestation it is difficult to discover it, it is simpler from 12 weeks onwards. It's traditional so that you can be traumatic, the percentages of miscarriage now could be approximately two% even even though you are under no circumstances particularly risk-free.

my ex had a tilted uterus.. are you a tall one?? odds are the baby might be a boy, they are less active in the womb, so the heartbeat isnt as strong.. plus 8 weeks is kinda early to hear anything in there.. hope this helps you or makes you feel more at ease
