1. Can somebody who has been to mahabaleshwar agree to what is being said there
2. Is MTDC a good resort at Mahabaleshwar or is this a sales pitch?

MTDC resort is well kept but far off from the bus depot and market areas.

MTDC is Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, a Maharashtra government entity set up for development of tourism activities in Maharashtra.

There are hundreds of options for accomodation, food in Mahabaleshwar catering for all price level and comforts. You need not limit yourself to the MTDC resort only.
