Ive just flown back from India and i have the worst period ever! but ive just realised that everytime i go there i have a really heavy period and when i get back i have one too. i normally have really light periods. Do you think flying can affect your period? Or is just coincidence?

Flying doesn't affect your menstrual cycle which is controlled by your hormones but the stress of flying certainly can.

That's interesting!
Your periods are controlled by hormones, which are controlled by your brain.
Anything that effects your brain could possibly effect your hormonal balance, and therefore your periods -- stress, weight changes, some medications, and change in routine (such as vacations).
So I would say yes. But it's probably not flying per se, but traveling a long distance and everything that goes with it.
