I will second what Ron has said: The Dell 1505 can have Ubuntu Feisty Fawn preinstalled. This choice will get you a 50 dollar discount in the total cost of the notebook.

Just order any laptop w/o os software. Use the computer you own now to go to the Umbunto site and they will send you as many free cds as you want to run Umbuto live or to install.
