How do other blacks feel about illegal immigrants being put n front of us 4 welfare and health care& housing?

I don't care. The government in time will realize that they are hurting their own country. Not just w/ welfare and health care but not enforcing the immigration laws they already have.

people keep saying that all these black are on welfare but hispanics are on the rise. There was a story on http://www.hot995.com about his 21 year old hispanic woman that is having her fifth and sixth child (third set of faternal twins). She doesn't have a job neither does the father of this set and they plan to use welfare.

It doesn't affect me DIRECTLY so I really don't care. In time that minority population (due to their reproduction rates) will become the majority.

I also don't understand why people seem to have this notion that ONLY minorities more specifically black are on welfare when there are whites who also sit on their lazy asses and collect welfare.

ETA: Cindy the whites should be concerned about the hispanics taking over than the blacks. The blacks only account for 13% of population and according to census bureau on a steady/slow increase. I believe over the last 10 years the white/european descent population in US has gone from about 90% to 70% due to immigration (illegal/legal) and interracial relations.

Well, this question actually doesn't pretain to me. It would if I was on welfare or if I received public assistance or housing assistance.
BUT, since I've earned a 4 year degree and I support myself, I have no children out of wedlock and I don't NEED government handouts, this question is not for me. I strive to NOT be 'that' black person.

To answer your question on a more broad scale, we as black Americans should be disgusted; though this is nothing new and different. America has never liked us or done anything considerate for the plights of our communities. We shouldn't be surprised. Perhaps we will now realize that it's time to stop depending on others and pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and be self-sufficient.

First of all I think you should have included every nationality on this question. There are high numbers in whites on Welfare as well. I'm a working Black woman therefore I'm not on Welfare. However, don't make it seem as though just minorities are collecting off the states when it's also whites as well. And although I have never used this term, I'm so sure that you have heard it before. "Poor White Trash!" Does that ring a bell with you? Thank you very much!

I dont care....I am not on welfare. If anyone needs assistance from the government when they are entitled to it, then it should go out to them, regardless of race. I pay taxes also, but I dont complain about which Immigrant or which ethinicity is receiving the most welfare, wtf?

maybe that means black people as a whole should get up off of our a*ses and get educated so some of us don't NEED welfare. I wonder when some of us are gonna get tired of hand outs from the gov't. the state of my people right now makes me sad. I say, let the hispanics have it all.
