I need to keep the ifo on the hard drive. So what I am asking is how do I get rid of a partitioned hard drive and make it a single hardrive without erasing the info that is already on it. I want to keep the hard drive in the system and use it but want to make it bigger by making it one hard drive instead of 2. Thanks.

well when ever you changed a partition on the hard drive you should always make a backup of your information because you never know what is going to happen. i will suggest you use partition magic it is quite costly but it works good. if you are looking for a cheaper and not so good too there is a partitioning tool by Linux that is free make sure you get the live CD so you don't have to install it.

Try "Partition Magic". It's probably the best software out there for handling partitions.

well when you clear the partion you will lose all of the info so back it up on dvds then go into safe mode and fdisk the drive then format it will be clean and ready for an os
