My husband and I take vacation every year at the same time, and go to same place for just this reason. We built a small cabin in the hills of PA, out in the middle of their national park edge. Our property boarders the peacefullness. No phone service, no TV service, nothing but pure quiet. We have been doing this since the late 60's

All the time!

I go for long walks in the morning just appreciating the flowers and trees and little animals.
Then in the evening I sit outside and watch the sunset and the little wild rabbits come out to play and forage.
All the time just sitting and not really thinking so much as being.
It's beautiful.

I did that yesterday. We just moved back home to Oregon and we are staying on my father-in-laws property until our place is ready. I was outside having my coffee at about six in the morning, and three of the largest deer I have ever seen walked out of the woods and started feeding in his pasture. It was such a peaceful time! I love the country life! Have a great week! Annie

Yesterday, when we went to Rother Valley Country Park. It was a warm afternoon and the ducks and geese were on the water. It was lovely to just sit in the peace and quiet with the warm sun on your face. If it's nice and warm next Sunday we will be going again and taking a picnic.

Seems like such a long time ago ,but it was probably last summer. We were on holiday, the kids had all gone fishing for the day and I sat outside the caravan on my own reading and relaxing for hours.
Take me there now .

Last night during a HUGE summer thunderstorm. I sat on my patio on a lawn chair and just watched it and thought for like an hour. It moved right overhead during that time, it was cool I've never seen chain lightning before in Vancouver.

I do this all the time on my backyard patio. I love looking at all of the beautiful trees. I have cats and sometimes when we are lounging on the back patio I feed them them out there. Their food has attracted all kinds of birds, possums, raccoons, and squirrels. I love watching these wild animals. It gives me such peace and joy. Nature is a stress reliever and just makes me appreciate life so much more.
