San Antonio Spurs will most likely win the NBA Finals in six games. The Spurs have championship experience, arguably NBA's best defense with Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen defending the interior and exterior respectively. A much more reliable and deeper bench that includes Manu Ginobli, Robert Horry(Key player on 6 championship winning teams), and other role players. A coach who is a future hall of famer in Greg Popovich who will have this team focused and hungry to win the title (unlike the Pistons who I support, literally falling asleep during their four losses until they finally imploded in game 6.) Lebron James is an amazing player who definitely has potential to win championships like Jordan but his supporting cast has to improve. Coach Mike Brown also showed to much inexperience during the conference finals burning timeouts at the wrong time (not to mention the 3rd quarter woes) which the Spurs will capatalize on. But the intangibles of Lebron James will make the series interesting to watch.

Wow! I knew this question would be asked a lot, but wow.
This is my answer from now on to everyone who asks this question:
I have said this before and will keep on saying:
I know that the San Antonio Spurs will win. Detroit was not playing good defense. The Spurs are the best defensive team in the league, they are even more defensive during the playoffs, and especially in the NBA Finals. There is no way that the Cavs can even think of winning a Finals series against the a defensive team such as the SA Spurs. The Cavs also lack experience, which is another key weapon the Spurs have. The Spurs have WAY too many weapons against the Lebron and his Cavs. The Spurs have home court advantage, they are the best defensive team in the league, and have the experience that the Cavs lack. The Spurs also have Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Bruce Bowen, Robert Horry, Fabricio Oberto , Michael Finley, ect.. The Cavs just have Lebron, and he is not enough. . The only championship that the Cavs will get this year is the East C. Championship, Spurs in 5. The Cavs won't even know what hit them. Duncan as the MVP.

Cavaliers in 6 Games
They will take game one or two and shock all the sports writers who predicted otherwise and didn't realize they actually had a team and a bench and not just one player. The Cavs have many threats on their team, not to mention Gibson who had 31 points against the Pistons and totally shocked them as they were keying in on James. What amazes me is how "blind" people are when they try to predict these things. Go look at the predictions on sportsline.com and see how "wrong" all the experts were...I'm glad to see this same cast is picking the Spurs in 4 or 5, which makes me elated as I now see a Cavs victory for sure!
Go Cavs! Rock the Casbah of public misperception....

LeBron can't win it all the way: I most definitely believe LeBron is a phenomenal player; blessed with the genes of an alpha male... probably the most physically gifted athlete after Shaq (Orlando and early Lakers Shaq, mind you). He has a sick combination of size, strength, speed, and talent, and for sure he's going to blossom into a fantastic player... in a few more years. He's not yet ready mentally to go against the Playoff and Finals-tested Spurs (with Duncan leading the way, they've won a few rings already).
Jordan could take on an entire team by himself, as can Kobe, but LeBron, as shown by the Detroit series, can not (except the one game where he scored 48 points). The truth is, LeBron is the only legitimate player that can go toe-to-toe with the Suns. Bowen is definitely not a match to LeBron... but that's about it; Duncan will overpower Ilgauskas, Horry and Oberto would cover the pesky Gooden, Finley and Ginobili will cut through Hughes, and Parker will run circles around Gibson and Snow.
And don't forget, the Spurs are coached by a great tactician in Popovich. He would probably have the Spurs push the tempo and leave the Cavs in transition. The Cavs' only chance is to fast break their way into victory.. meaning LeBron would have to keep running the floor by himself.
As for the LeBron-Bowen matchup... Life would be hard for LeBron. He would probably shred Bowen with his great physical strength and speed, but Bowen would make him bleed for every point he makes.
In conclusion, Spurs in 5, which is appropriate... they'd win it on their home court.

I have a feeling the Spurs are going to win.... Don't get Me wrong I would Love to see Lebron Get to the Top and Finally win a Title in just his fourth year in the league, but I have a feeling that San antonio is going to be too much for them they've been to the finals and they have more experience, This is the cavs first time on the biggest stage of them all, Lebron Will most likely Dominate, but I can't see him beating the spurs by himself like he did the Pistons, I really hate to say this but I think the spurs got it this year.

Cavs in 8..... Oh wait there is no such thing... so Id say Spurs in 5 at the most if not 4-0. They have to stop Lebron at his best... which is a daunting task but the spurs also beat the suns, who are the most high powered offense in the league and they beat Jazz who are very defensive minded. I still think that the pistons and cavs game was rigged.. but oh well. Gibson is not going to TORCH the spurs like he did the pistons. Tony Pakers is more of a Mr Big shot than Billups, i think, Duncan is 100 times better than Webber, Wallace and Mcdysee put together. Ginobli had been unstopable in any playoff series he has played. Finley will continue his awesome performance, Oberto is continue with his spark and big shot rob will hit couple of those and Bruce Bowen will NOT stop Lebron but he sure will do a better job than wat hamilton did. Billups, hamilton and price are not SERIOUS SERIOUS weapons as compared to Parker, Duncan and Ginobli. Also Igaskus and Verrajao are not better than Karilenko and Boozer or Okur and Boozer and SA had thier way with them.. and when it comes to adjustments and experience who better than Popavic compared to watver Cavs coach name is.
Spurs in 5 at the most.

My Spurs will win it all in five (losing one game at Cleveland). I admit I am a bit biased being a Spurs Season Ticket holder and an uber fan. However, the Spurs have more experience, depth, the combo of defense and offense, are able to win at home and on the road in importanta games; so it seems that the Cavs are outmatched.

Of course, the Spurs are going to win. I know everyone is excited that LeBron has made it to the NBA Finals; but the Spurs are a much more balanced team with 3 NBA titles. I know everyone wants to see LeBron win, but seriously. You can say shut up West all you want, but if you really follow the NBA you know that the Cavs don't stand a chance. LeBron is not going to put up 48 every night on the Spurs. That is the only way they would have a chance.

Being a Cavs fan I am would love the Cavs to win it all. A lot of people seem to forget what a player like Lebron is capable of especially in the playoff and he has proved it this year.
I think the Spurs will win it, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs defeat them. They have Lebron.

Spurs will probably win, but I will be pulling for the Cavs.
The Spurs are an awesome team, but just not fun to watch on TV.
