Do you hate how everyone celebrates christmas, they take the meaning out of it, it is the day Christ was born onto this earth, not frosty the snow man, and santa, (which make no sence, because you would just be saying saint) I do beleive that ST. Nicolas was once alive and did what he did, but people keep blowing him out of proportion.
The hole cristmas season is lost to Great low prices, and Great gifts....does anyone even know why they are getting the gifts any more? Also all those movies where every thing goes wrong...And at the end they talk about the true meaning of Christmas.....and its not even the TRUE meaning, its just some crap about loving and giving, and not say one thing about JESUS, to make all the non christians happy, when its a christian holiday, so why the hell do we need to cater to the non christians! You cannot take Crist out of Christmas, is IMPOSSIBLE Christ -mas. Tell me all you non christians, why do you celebrate Christmas?

Why do you want to take the joy that some people have in the side celebrations of Christmas away from them?
I enjoy the holiday Christmas movies and cartoons, as I make or wrap gifts for family. That does not mean that I have taken Christ out of Christmas. You are looking a window dresses and making assumptions. A Christ centered holiday can still exist in a secular world as long as you keep that balance.
The celebration of the period of Advent, and Christmastide or dear to my heart

Your point is precisely why I and others like Charlie Brown's Christmas. To contemplate that Linus Soliliquoy was on National Network Television every year for 20+ years has got to be a burr in the buttocks of every humanist at the Television network.

i agree wholeheartedly with you. i detest the commercialism of Christmas, too. i am not really upset that the powers that be are taking the sacred seasons out of schools because, actually, nonbelievers celebrating my holiday does offend me. i do not go "Christmas" shopping, per se, but my friends get restaurant gift cards for presents. only children under age 13 get presents, when they add "teen" to their age, they get mall gift cards. i advise them to take advantage of the after- Christmas sales. this leaves me able to donate money to the various Church charities, my favorite being the free holiday meals we host for the homeless. my outdoor Chritsmas decorations are scaled 'way back, only a wreath on the door. i have my decorations inside my home, along with the advent wreath and candles, and celebrate all the way to Epiphany.i don't feel much inclined to decorate the world for the enemies of my religion. let them have the secular-what they're celebrating, i do not know. but i prefer to keep Christmas and all the other holidays private.

Okay here we go. The real meaning of Christmas is not lost on adults who believe. However, children won't get excited about "Christ" mas if there were no presents, candy, etc... I believe non-christians celebrating Christmas is absolutely fine Christ taught through love and as long as they do love and give to needy people I will raise a glass of wine and toast their participation.

The Bible is NOT the Source of popular religious and secular holidays that are celebrated in many parts of the world today. What, then, is the origin of such celebrations? If you have access to a library, you will find it interesting to note what reference books say about holidays that are popular where you live.

1. Because it IS Christ birthday.
2.Because it is a great day to show your family that you Love them and appreciate them also.
3.Because everyone likes a birthday party,even Jesus.
I always keep Jesus in my Christmas celebration. He is the reason for the season. God Bless..

Sounds stable to me. Now in my adulthood and before my marriage wreck up, i could rejoice on the twenty 5th that's usually happening in England. although, my grandmother replaced into Austrian and that's/replaced into Austrian custom to furnish Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. If reminiscence serves that replaced into the day "Kristkindle" could come and that replaced into the special day whilst i replaced into starting to be up. In a small yet unintended revert to previous kinfolk custom, transportation subject concerns will forestall me from seeing my daughter on Christmas Day, although, she is coming over on the twenty third and could be recieving her grants from my area of the kinfolk on Christmas Eve.

* Jesus never celebrated his birthday
* Jesus never said celebrate his birthday
* Jesus never said buy a christmas tree
* Jesus never said there is Father Christmas
* Jesus never sang or mentioned a choir
* Jesus was not born in December
etc etc
You celebrate Christmas with all pagan rituals. Jesus lived to prevent things like this.

us non-christians can celebrate christmas just to be w/ our families...it doesn't have to be because of jesus. And no i do not agree with you. I think that it is okay to celebrate even if you aren't christian. And people make those movies because it makes people happy and that shouldn't bug you and if it does than that is wrong.

FYI, December 25 is not the true birthday of Jesus.
What exactly is the "true" meaning of Xmas? The day that an unwed mother gave birth to a baby? Heck, I guess everyday must be Xmas! Hope I get paid for all those holidays!
PS, ever heard of spell check?
