Of course we are all hungry, three times a day at least.. but really really hungry when you had a lack of food?
I am not, not today, but have been once.. for 6 days....

yep, I can think of 2 time periods in my life...
one was when I was 16 and left home.
I lived off of Sugar Smacks cereal and water for a week or more. Then I lived primarily on rice and cheap veggies. I wasn't "starving" but it was just basic body fuel.
Also various periods of time when I was a single mom going to college/ working.... my Kids always were given good healthy food and I went without meals for days if necessary.

No, I guess I have never been truly hungry from the fact that there was nothing to eat.
But I think as Americans, our nation has become so affluent that we don't know what the famine some third-world countries have to endure is like.

Never thank God...but i know some people are living like that as we speak...and i find it very sad, if i was a millionaire i would help allot, i do donate money though, but there is only one of me and so many of them, that is why we all have to pitch in a little bit to help those in need!

Yes, when I was married to my ex husband. He stole all our money for rent , food , and utilities to buy drugs with! I didn't have any food for a couple days! I didn't want to admit to anybody he had a drug habit and was abusive. When I got my paycheck I left him and never looked back!

I've certainly had to scrounge for a few days until the next paycheck, but not for six days.

When my ex didn't pay the maintenance, we lived of spaghetti and porridge. No sauces, no milk, etc.
Oh, did I mention he was on holiday, staying in hotels etc?
